Shipping from Las Vegas: what the location gives you

If most of your customers are in California, Las Vegas gives you a direct I-15 route to Los Angeles and one-day shipping into the state. From the valley, more than 40 million consumers fall inside a one-day delivery window and two days covers every state west of the Mississippi River.

If you import, Foreign Trade Zone 89, run by the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, cuts customs and excise costs on goods coming into Southern Nevada, and the state charges no corporate or personal income tax. Neither point sets the valley apart within Nevada: the tax rules are statewide, and the Reno area has its own zone, FTZ 126.

Freight also moves by rail and air. Union Pacific provides Class I service to the valley, and Harry Reid International’s 2025 air cargo totaled about 213.7 million pounds, about two and a half times Reno-Tahoe’s 83.6 million, which matters if you ship by air and are also weighing a Reno-Sparks warehouse.

For staffing, about 210,400 people in the metro work in trade, transportation and utilities (preliminary, August 2026). The state’s US 95 corridor is being converted into I-11, planned as a north-south trade route linking Canada and Mexico through Nevada.

What to ask before you sign with a Las Vegas 3PL

  1. Can I walk through the building my orders will ship from before I sign?
  2. If my goods land at a California port, who trucks them to Las Vegas and what does that leg cost?
  3. Do you already ship to Walmart, Target or Amazon from this location?
  4. Is there a monthly minimum fee, and how is it calculated?
  5. Do you deliver locally within the Las Vegas Valley, or only through parcel carriers?
  6. What happens to my fees if volume doubles or drops by half in the first year?

Las Vegas 3PL FAQ

What do Las Vegas fulfillment companies charge?

You will need a quote from each one: none of the 10 Las Vegas firms here publishes per-order rates. ShipBob's quote combines receiving, storage and an all-in pick, pack and ship fee, Advantage lets you use your own shipping accounts and packaging, and LVK charges no onboarding fee.

Where are the 3PL warehouses in the Las Vegas area?

North Las Vegas has the most: 5 of the 10 firms have a building there (Saddle Creek, Speed Commerce, ShipBob, LVK and ShipMonk's NV3). AP Express and Black Mountain are both on N. Lamb Blvd in Las Vegas, Advantage is on Lindell Road, ShipMonk's NV1 is on East North Belt Road and Boxzooka is in Henderson; Stord does not publish its address.

Is there a Las Vegas 3PL for small brands?

Boxzooka's FAQ says it takes startups shipping 100 orders a week, and none of the 10 publishes a minimum order count. ShipMonk does set a monthly minimum fee, agreed during the sales process.

Is Las Vegas a good location for an ecommerce warehouse?

It is if your customers are mostly in the West: I-15 runs direct to Los Angeles for one-day shipping into California, and two-day delivery reaches every state west of the Mississippi River. More than 40 million consumers fall inside the one-day window.

Can a Las Vegas 3PL handle retail and wholesale orders?

Yes: all 10 list B2B or retail fulfillment, and 7 list retail EDI compliance. ShipMonk credits eligible retailer chargebacks caused by its own errors, and Saddle Creek pairs its North Las Vegas building with truckload and LTL service.

Which Las Vegas 3PLs ship hazmat?

2 of the 10 list hazmat shipping: ShipMonk and LVK. LVK sends hazmat SKUs only by DHL Ground, with a 7 to 15 day transit and an added fee.
