Shipping from Nevada: what the location gives you

The firms on this list split between Nevada’s two metros. Las Vegas, in the south on I-15, has about 210,400 trade, transportation and utilities workers and an airport, Harry Reid International, whose 2025 air cargo came to about 213.7 million pounds. Reno-Sparks, in the north on I-80, has about 61,300 workers in the same sector (both figures preliminary, August 2026) and Reno-Tahoe International, with about 83.6 million pounds in 2025.

Each metro has its own foreign-trade zone, FTZ 126 around Reno and FTZ 89 in Southern Nevada. Both sit on freight lines to the coast: I-80, I-15 and Union Pacific’s rail network carry transcontinental freight inland from California’s deep water ports, and a one-day drive from the state reaches about 60 million customers plus several major ports on the Pacific Coast. A north-south route is coming as well: the state is converting its US 95 corridor into I-11, planned as a trade link from Canada to Mexico.

On cost, the state charges no franchise tax, no inventory tax and no corporate income tax. Your customer base inside Nevada is growing too: the population rose 15 percent from 2010 to 2020, fifth fastest among the states and more than double the national rate.

What to ask before you sign with a Nevada 3PL

  1. Do you run buildings in both Reno-Sparks and Las Vegas, and which one would my orders ship from?
  2. Can I visit that building before I sign?
  3. What are the daily carrier pickup cutoffs at that dock?
  4. Do you already ship to Walmart, Target or Costco under their routing guides from Nevada?
  5. How are storage and pick fees adjusted if my volume doubles or halves?
  6. Which foreign-trade zone, if any, can my imported goods use through you?

Nevada 3PL FAQ

What do Nevada fulfillment companies charge?

Nevada fulfillment is priced by quote at every company here; none of the 10 posts per-order rates. ShipBob's quote combines receiving, storage and one all-in pick, pack and ship fee, and Advantage lets you ship on your own carrier accounts with your own packaging.

Should I pick Reno or Las Vegas for a Nevada warehouse?

Pick by where your customers are: Las Vegas has a direct I-15 route to Los Angeles and one-day shipping into California, while Reno-Sparks sits on I-80 and reaches 11 states by truck within two days. Taxes do not decide it: Nevada levies no corporate income, inventory or franchise tax anywhere in the state.

Which Nevada 3PLs have warehouses in both Reno and Las Vegas?

2 of the 10: ShipBob, with LAS-1 in North Las Vegas and RNO-3 in Reno, and Stord, which runs fulfillment in both the Reno and Las Vegas areas. The other 8 are in one metro only, 4 in each.

Is there a Nevada 3PL with no order minimum?

None of the 10 publishes a minimum order count, so ask each one directly. ShipMonk sets a monthly minimum fee during the sales process, and Productiv says it is not the right fit for simple pick-and-pack brands shipping a few hundred orders a month.

Which Nevada 3PLs are FDA registered or food grade?

ShipMonk's two Las Vegas buildings are FDA registered, and Bender Group (AIB 'Superior', Reno) and Advantage (AIB International and Southern Nevada Health District, Las Vegas) publish food grade approvals. Smart Warehousing's Reno warehouse is AIB audited and its cold storage building is BRCGS certified, and ITS describes its Vista Blvd building as food grade.

Can Nevada 3PLs prep inventory for Amazon FBA?

Yes, 5 of the 10 offer it: AP Express, ITS Logistics, Productiv, ShipBob and ShipMonk. ShipBob lets you place FBA prep orders from its dashboard.
